Worship at Family of Christ

Family of Christ enjoys a variety of worship experiences to honor our Lutheran traditions. Contemporary worship teams or choirs, youth groups, bell choirs, instrumentalists, or children’s groups — praise God in all we do.

We celebrate Holy Communion during each worship service and hold baptisms right in the midst of our regular worship life. We welcome guests to be with us at any worship service, welcome their full participation in the service and Communion.

Through preaching, prayer and song, we strive to express God’s love for us in Jesus Christ in understandable language, for God’s Word to be relevant for our daily walk of faith. Children, youth, and adults share in leadership and worship assistance-All are welcome!

If needed, there is a coloring area in the back left of the church for small children. There is also a free, fully staffed nursery on the lower level.

Altar Flowers

A gift of flowers for Sunday worship is a lovely and meaningful way to remember a loved one, a special occasion, or a blessing received. For a very affordable $20, we will create a beautiful fresh arrangement to adorn the altar, which you may take home after Sunday worship, if you’d like. Sign up on the flower chart on the bulletin board outside the kitchen for the date(s) on which you’d like to provide flowers. Please make your check payable to “Family of Christ,” write “flowers” on the memo line, and leave the check in the mailbox just outside the church office.
